Secure Online Entry Forms Now Available for Season-Opening SVRA Spring Vintage Classic at Sebring and First 20 Entries for Amelia Island Vintage Grand Prix Invitational

FERNANDINA BEACH, Florida (January 20, 2016) – Secure online entry forms are now available for 2016 competition in The Stuttgart Cup, Mission Foods GT3 Cup Trophy USA and The Maranello Cup, which kick-off this year’s racing season less than 45 days from now at the SVRA Spring Vintage Classic at Sebring International Raceway, March 3 – 6. In addition to the Sebring opener, the inaugural Amelia Island Vintage Grand Prix, March 17 – 20, has also been added to the 2016 schedule. The Invitational event is open only to the first 20 competitors from all three series combined that enter now to reserve a spot in this historic debut event. The Amelia Island Vintage Grand Prix Invitational is a rare chance for competitors in The Stuttgart Cup, Mission Foods GT3 Cup Trophy USA and The Maranello Cup to compete in the first edition of a race destined to become a classic. Held on successive weekends with the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance, which celebrated its 20th Anniversary last year, any founding competitors in the inaugural Vintage Grand Prix Invitational will be assured a spot in the field in all future runnings of the historic race.

In addition to the Amelia Island Vintage Grand Prix Invitational, The Stuttgart Cup, Mission Foods GT3 Cup and The Maranello Cup will race together in their own featured run group on at least six more SVRA event weekends in 2016, starting at Sebring.

The exclusive America’s GT Cup run group will be for all sessions on each race weekend, including practice, qualifying, sprints and enduro races.

The complete schedule to date for The Stuttgart Cup, Mission Foods GT3 Cup Trophy USA and The Maranello Cup on 2016 SVRA event weekends includes the following races:

– Spring Vintage Classic at Sebring International Raceway, March 3 – 6

– Amelia Island Vintage Grand Prix, March 17 – 20: Invitational Event Limited to First 20 Entries

– Road America Spring Vintage Festival, May 12 – 15

– Vintage Grand Prix of Mid-Ohio, June 23 – 26

– U.S. Vintage Grand Prix at Watkins Glen International, September 8 – 11

– Heacock Classic Gold Cup at Virginia International Raceway (VIR), September 22 – 25

– Mardi Gras in October at NOLA Motorsports Park, October 13 – 16

The Sebring, VIR and NOLA races are companion weekend events with Trans Am.

The Stuttgart Cup and Mission Foods GT3 Cup Trophy USA are Porsche-based racing series while The Maranello Cup showcases previously eligible Ferrari Challenge race cars. The Stuttgart Cup is for Porsche Caymans and Mission Foods GT3 Cup Trophy USA is home to Porsche 996, 997 and other GT3 Cup cars from the last decade.

All three series compete with the support of official series partners Pirelli Tire North America, BRM Chronographes, Pacifico Costa Rica, Mission Foods, Racerink, Palm Beach Driving Club and VP Racing Fuels.
