As we prepare to head to Daytona this week, here’s a quick reminder of the championship battle to be played out in Florida. Bob Wisen is leading the Mission Foods GT3 Cup Trophy category followed closely by Tom Pank and Ted Giovanis, all three are entered in the Daytona event.
Benoit Bergeron holds a slim lead in the Maranello Cup category – will the current Maranello Cup Champion repeat?
Will Wachs will be back in the car we are so familiar with. Will’s Gator Gang green #017 has been repaired and will be in Daytona. Wachs has wrapped up the 2020 Stuttgart Championship already but will face a record number of Caymans at Daytona.

Also for Daytona we are excited to announce that our favorite videographer, Ben Cissell will be on hand to capture track action, driver’s interviews and podium ceremonies. Look for Ben around the garages and paddock.
IGT Offers Driver Orientation and Evaluation with Guy Cosmo
Professional Driver and coach Guy Cosmo will join International GT at Daytona for driver development and safety. Guy will conduct an orientation meeting for new drivers to the series and Daytona following the general drivers meeting on Friday. Guy is also offering personal coaching for a limited number of drivers throughout the weekend which will include data evaluation, car set up, orientation laps (Thursday afternoon) and race craft. This is a great opportunity to work with one of the top drivers in sportscar racing. The program is limited and offered on a first come basis a very reasonable rate.
