Safety Update Flagtronics Requirement
Although most International GT competitors already have Flagtronics installed in their race cars, we wanted to notify all that we will be requiring a Flagtronics system beginning at our Watkins Glen race, September 4, 2025.Flagtronics is the leader in safety flagging lighting systems and available to all IGT competitors via their website:

Additionally, the series has a support person at each event with the ability to assist competitors with any help needed to service the Flagtronics unit.
Ron Zitza has spent a lifetime in motorsports as a driver, coach and race prep shop owner.
Ron’s dad, Harro Zitza, started Zotz in 1959. Harro taught Ron to build engines and race prep cars.
As the owner of Zotz Racing and Zotz Autowerks, Ron has been working on Porsches for over 45 years.
Ron is a 1981 University of Central Florida graduate who started racing at age 18 in a 1957 Porsche Speedster.
He has won many titles, championships
and races, such as the 2000 Rolex Daytona 24 hours, 2006 SCCA 13 hour enduro at VIR, 1999, 2003, 2007, 2008 Historic Enduro Champion, 2008 Classic GT Champion, SCCA National Division Champion in 1992 & 1996.
Ron holds several track records and has held positionss as the Track Orientation Instructor for HSR, and the Director of Instructor Training for the Florida Citrus Region PCA.
Ron has been married to his lovely wife Marie for 38 years and together they have 2 children, Danielle and Eric and 2 grandchildren.
