Important Daytona Schedule Update - Registration October 27-29

There has been an update in the Daytona registration and load in schedule. Due to the track being occupied by another group (see below) the paddock load-in time is now slated for Friday, October 27 at 5pm. Team transporters will be allowed to stage in the Gate 40 lot, off Williamson Blvd beginning Friday morning, however registration will begin at 3pm – remember this is a non-spectator event therefore each crew member will just need to sign the Daytona Speedway release and receive a wristband. Any driver who is entering their first International GT event in 2023 will need to check-in with Julie.

Registration is currently open for the Daytona race. Entries are filling up and it should be a terrific event with lots of track time and a full field of competitors. Click on the image to see the entire schedule and/or the photo of Juan Fayen’s Porsche to link to registration.

Daytona garages are sold out however as has been the case each year, we will have the paddock behind the yellow garages (adjacent to the medical center) for teams to set up.

Any questions please contact Julie@InternationalGT.net or call (770)380-7770.

Daytona Testing Opportunity

Professional sportscar racer Christina Nielsen is hosting a testing day for GT race cars at Daytona on Friday, October 27 – yes, that’s the day prior to our IGT race at Daytona. This is the perfect opportunity for extra track time at the famed race track. Additionally, Christina will be hosting the same type event the day before, Thursday, October 26 at Sebring. You can register for both days in combination or individual days. Click on the photo of Daytona Speedway to link to registration.

If you only want to participate in the Daytona testing please use the code:

DAYTONAONLY when you register.

Next Up for International GT VIR - October 4-8

Last time we talked about VIR registration, we featured a photo of Topher Everett’s Cayman from the 2022 race. We were contacted almost immediately and received this newly updated and very snazzy new livery on Topher’s race car. Can’t wait to see it in person.

The field for the VIR race is filling in nicely and we should have a great group of competitors on hand for one of the favorite and most challenging drivers’ circuits on the schedule. If you have never raced at VIR any driver will tell you it’s really worth the trip!

If you have any registration questions please contact Julie@InternationalGT.net or call (770)380-7770
