The largest spectator event on the International GT schedule is just 30 days away. The partnership of SVRA, Trans Am and International GT has only added to the excitement of one of the longest running vintage events in the country. Thousands of fans lined the track and the streets of Watkins Glen for the running of the original races of the 1950’s. The history of sports car racing, Formula 1 and rock music festivals abound from the 3.4 mile track up on the hill overlooking scenic Seneca Lake. The Glen is also the home track of Hudson Historics. Previously Bob Akin Motorsports, the shop of one passionate driver grew to be one of the premier sports car preparer on the east coast. Gordon Eggleston and his crew specialize in restoration, fabrication, maintenance and race team management. Located in Warwick, NY, Hudson Historics has been a long time supporter of International GT and presenter of the prestigious annual Bob Akin Trophy.

International GT at Daytona??

International GT has the opportunity to add another iconic track to the schedule November 30 – December 1, 2018. The 2018 Championship season and points total would end at COTA as planned.

Congratulations
to Team TGM!

Everyone from International GT, our partners and teams would like to give a heart-felt CONGRATULATIONS to Ted Giovanis and the entire Team TGM on their first win at Lime Rock Park on July 21, 2018 in the IMSA Continental Tire Sportscar Challenge. In a spectacularly thrilling race, the team made its maiden trip to stand on the top of the podium. The team backed up their Lime Rock win with another podium finish this past weekend at Road America!

If you know Ted and his team, you’ll agree this couldn’t happen to a nicer group of guys and gals!
