RS1 Takes Overall Win
It finally happened….we made a mistake. Actually more of an omission, than a mistake. LOL!
We apologize for missing Eric Filgueiras in our report on RS1’s overall win in last Friday’s Pilot Challenge race at Daytona. Eric and co-driver Stevan McAleer ran a flawless race! What you might not know is that the Porsche they drove belongs to Tom Kopczynski, a regular in IGT competition. Tom and Eric will be with IGT at our season opener in Sebring in a couple weeks.
Congratulations to Eric, Stevan, Tom and the entire RS1 Team!!

2021 Awards Presentation
Rookie of the Year
We all know the 2021 Champions: Andy Pilgrim in Maranello Cup, David Tuaty in Mission Foods GT3 Cup and Will Wachs in Stuttgart Cup.
However, there are some surprise presentations that will be given at the awards presentation on Friday, January 25 in Sebring. One of these coveted awards will go to the 2021 Rookie of the Year.
In IGT competition “rookie” doesn’t necessarily mean youngest or least experience, for us the Rookie of the Year will go to a competitor who ran their first full season in 2021. This person will also have been an example of the good sportsmanship and camaraderie that is found in IGT competition.
