The countdown to the Savannah Speed Classic has begun. The festival like event brings a huge spectator crowd for manufacturer displays, track rides and of course the racing. In anticipation of this year’s event, major sections of the track have been repaved and improved track safety upgrades. The track was first designed and constructed in the mid ’90s for Indy Lights racing. The “downtown” circuit offers a challenging and fun experience for spectators and drivers with great restaurants, entertainment and Savannah Southern charm a short ferry ride away. With the three championship titles on the line, we’re looking forward to this penultimate event of the season. As an added bonus, IGT entrants are now eligible for free track sessions.
