Sonoma Circuit Ready for SpeedTour Event
We all saw the images from Sonoma Raceway this past week when the track was challenged with pavement issues. If nothing else it made for some lively social media banter. However, big kudos go to Sonoma Raceway and the folks from SRO America for working overtime to make the necessary repairs and get in an exciting weekend of racing.
Congrats go to our own SKI Autosports (International GT 2022 Maranello Cup Champions) who took the Sunday win in the GT America series!
Some have asked and we have been assured that the Raceway is all set for our event coming in just a couple short weeks.
Driver Bios
You may have noticed some changes to the International GT registration system that took place recently. If you have any questions or need assistance please contact Julie@InternationalGT.net or call (770)380-7770.
One of the great additions to the system is the inclusion of departments on the main information page (see the orange circle in the image). The General information should be populated in all customer profiles. The Licensing and Medical sections should be populated with current information if you have raced with IGT in 2024 or purchased a license this year.
You can now add your own BIO to the site and the track announcers will have access to this information. We encourage everyone to take a moment and complete the BIO section in the registration program.
Provisional Lime Rock Schedule May 23-25
When we return from California we will head to our Memorial Day classic event at Lime Rock Park. This little bullring of a circuit at only one and a half miles long creates exciting and close racing every year. We look forward to welcoming our Northeastern teams to the iconic Connecticut track. Remember that this is a 2 day on-track event – Friday and Saturday only, with registration and paddock load in on Thursday.
Entry Fees for International GT
Please note that starting immediately when you enter an International GT event your credit card statement will show it as a SVRA charge. As Daisy Alice Green decided to make her grand appearance in this world on Friday, March 22 at 1:10am, dad Chris (the official photographer for IGT) was replaced at our Road Atlanta race by Halston Pitman.
