Early-Entry Deadline Extended to Monday for February 12 – 14 Event With More Than Six Hours of Track Time
PALM BEACH, Florida (February 1, 2015) – The Stuttgart Cup™ and Mission Foods GT3 Cup Trophy USA by Car Amigo 2015 racing season begins two weeks from now with the Palm Beach Grand Prix, February 12 – 14, at Palm Beach International Raceway (PBIR), and the weekend begins with a Season-Opening Welcome Party and 2014 Awards Reception Thursday evening.
Stuttgart Cup and Mission Foods GT3 Cup series organizers have also extended until tomorrow, Monday, February 2, an early entry fee discount for the season-opening event that features more than six hours of total track time.
The provisional Palm Beach Grand Prix competition schedule includes five practice sessions on Thursday, three more practice runs and qualifying on Friday as well as the popular twilight race that begins at 4:50 p.m. Friday evening. Two more races, which follow morning warm-up, highlight Saturday’s schedule. A sprint will be held at 10:50 a.m. while the weekend’s featured one-hour and 45-minute enduro goes green at 3 p.m.

Another big part of the weekend will be the combination Welcome Party and 2014 Awards Reception, Thursday, February 12, at 5:30 p.m., at The Larry Wilson Collection in West Palm Beach, just minutes away from PBIR.
The Larry Wilson Collection consists of more than 50 exotic cars in a beautiful garage setting, providing the perfect venue and appropriate atmosphere to honor 2014’s top Stuttgart Cup and Mission Foods GT3 Cup competitors while also kicking off this year’s new racing season.
Open to all Porsche Caymans, Boxsters and 996, 997 and GT3 Cup cars, the Palm Beach Grand Prix kicks off a full 2015 schedule for The Stuttgart Cup™ and Mission Foods GT3 Cup Trophy USA by Car Amigo. The Palm Beach opener will be followed by the Spring Vintage Classic and Sebring, February 26 – March 1.
The Stuttgart Cup/Mission Foods GT3 series then makes its Homestead-Miami Speedway debut, April 9 – 12, at the Miami Historics before heading North to Road America for the Spring Vintage Festival, May 14 – 17, and the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course Mid-Ohio Vintage Grand Prix, June 25 – 28.
An autumn return to Road Atlanta for the second-straight year goes down the weekend of September 17 – 20 with the Atlanta Fall Historics before a TBD October date sets the stage for what has become the traditional season-ending Daytona Historic Races, November 12 – 15, and the Sebring Historics, December 3 – 6.
2015 marks the second full season that The Stuttgart Cup™ and Mission Foods GT3 Cup series will race together.
Showcasing Porsche Caymans and Boxsters, The Stuttgart Cup™ is beginning its fourth year of racing and third full-season of competition this year. Partnering with Mission Foods GT3, which has been a fixture on classic and historic race weekends for the last several seasons, was an ideal collaboration that attracted strong competitor interest and the support of Pirelli Tire in 2014.
Both The Stuttgart Cup™ and the Mission Foods GT3 Cup Trophy USA by Car Amigo are managed by Americas Cup GT L.L.C. Both championships are sprint and endurance race based with The Stuttgart Cup™ open to all Porsche Caymans and Boxsters and Mission Foods GT3 open to all 2000 and later Porsche 911 GT3s and related models. Rules for both series are centered on power to weight ratio. All competing Stuttgart Cup cars must compete with stock make and model engine and transmissions with approved allowances for exhaust and intake modifications. Stuttgart Cup organizers also welcome all competitors with existing race-prepared Caymans or Boxsters to compete with body and engine modifications balanced within series power to weight ratio parameters. All such competitors will not be eligible for championship points or class-designated race wins, but the door is always open to all Cayman and Boxster competitors to get in on the action.
